UNC moves from paper signage to digital signage
The University of New Caledonia continues rolling out its digital signage network. With this new broadcast point at the UNC Koné campus, the network now includes 12 monitors, including the video wall at the library entrance on the Nouville campus.
Centralized, energy-efficient broadcasting
With health guidelines changing rapidly, digital signage really comes into its own: messages are broadcast centrally using the ClicAndPublish solution.
To optimize power consumption, most broadcast points don’t use a media player (mini PC) but instead run an app installed directly on the Philips monitor’s Android system. The PRO range from Philips was chosen, with scheduled power on/off times being a key factor in that decision.
