Philips reliability serving BNC
When choosing a digital signage solution, durability is always a key question. Back in 2015, BNC chose to equip its 17 branches with Philips DS PRO monitors.
Over 6 years of service, a very low failure rate
Two displays per branch, including one touchscreen, with a theoretical lifespan of 50,000 hours (a little over 5 years). At the time of writing, the setup has been in place for more than 6 years: out of 34 monitors, only one has been replaced and two repaired.
This reliability, combined with the equipment’s low power consumption, fits squarely into a “green IT” approach.
A new Android range, no PC needed
The new Philips range now comes with Android, which allows our ClicAndPublish app to be installed directly. No more need for a PC to broadcast content: the display is self-sufficient.
