VisualCom designed simple access to Youth Center activities, available on the web and on an information screen installed at the front desk.
One place to find information, create and get support
The Nouméa City Youth Center welcomes young people aged 12 to 26 in the heart of downtown, on rue du Général-Gallieni. Housed in a renovated building, the center brings together spaces dedicated to digital media, audiovisual creation, music, dance, sport and group projects. It also gives young people access to various services and support around independence, training, employment, health and civic engagement.
Quickly find the activity that matches your interests
With many activities and events on offer at the Youth Center, information needs to stay simple to find and understand. The goal was to let young people and their families easily browse the schedule: discover an activity, check its time and find its location, without having to juggle multiple sources of information. This needed to be possible both remotely and directly on site.
The Youth Center's schedule, on every screen
VisualCom designed a custom WebApp to browse the Youth Center’s activities, along with their times and locations, from a smartphone, tablet or computer. The calendar lets visitors browse and filter the schedule to more easily find the activities they’re looking for.
The same information right at the front desk
Digital information continues inside the Youth Center. VisualCom installed a professional 55-inch Philips display at the front desk, in portrait orientation. Connected to ClicAndPublish, it automatically broadcasts the day’s activities and useful Youth Center information. Visitors can therefore see the schedule as soon as they arrive in the building.
Consistent information, from the web to the building
The WebApp and the front-desk screen serve two complementary uses. The WebApp lets people discover and browse the schedule remotely, while the screen installed at the Youth Center presents useful information once they’re on site. The same setup therefore supports visitors before and during their visit, on their own screens as well as inside the building.
