Real-time room-status display installation for the Congress of New Caledonia

The Congress of New Caledonia is the legislative and deliberative body of the New Caledonia collectivity. Its main duties are to pass the territory’s laws, adopt the budget, oversee the government’s actions and represent the interests of the Caledonian population. The Congress is made up of elected members who meet regularly in various committee rooms to discuss and decide on public affairs.

The Congress of New Caledonia needed a real-time display system showing the occupancy status of its committee rooms. This system had to be visible on displays located at the entrance of each room. To make booking management easier, room schedules are managed through O365 calendars.

VisualCom proposed an innovative and effective solution to meet this need. The solution pairs a 10″ Philips PRO Touch POE display with the ClicandPublish application.

This automated display system allows room occupancy to be seen instantly.

The solution proposed by VisualCom perfectly meets the needs of the Congress of New Caledonia. It offers a visual and intuitive interface for managing committee rooms.
Its innovative aspect is reinforced by the monitors’ Ambilight feature: the screens’ lights turn red when the room is occupied and green when it’s free. This feature allows the status of rooms to be identified instantly and visually, simplifying the organization of meetings and committees.
