Communicating on Philips displays

When deciding to deploy a digital signage system to communicate, there are hidden costs: hardware durability, power consumption, and the time spent publishing content.

Durability

An MTBF of 50,000 hours

We ultimately chose the Philips Professional Display range, which clearly states an MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) of 50,000 hours.

Power consumption

A built-in Android display, no mini PC needed

A Philips Professional Display broadcast point consists solely of a Class A Android display (for D models). No need for a mini PC connected via HDMI: this uses less power and streamlines maintenance. The built-in intelligence also lets you schedule the device’s power on/off times across 7 calendars.

Publishing time

ClicAndPublish, a self-contained solution

The Philips Professional Display screens we install come with the ClicAndPublish app. It launches automatically and plays a loop of videos, images, and info and weather layouts. You keep full control of your content by logging into the ClicAndPublish server, to prepare and schedule your communications independently.
