Installing Philips TVs in Château Royal's guest rooms: VisualCom's expertise serving the hospitality industry
In 2023/2024, VisualCom led a large-scale installation at Château Royal Beach Resort & Spa: 228 professional Philips TVs deployed across the hotel's guest rooms, centrally managed via the CMND server.

A personalized guest experience
Thanks to the CMND server’s integration with the Protel PMS through the Meteor middleware, each TV becomes a genuine direct communication tool with the guest. At check-in, the guest’s information is automatically sent to the room’s screens: a personalized display of the guest’s name, welcome messages, access to Netflix and YouTube with the guest’s own account, secure casting via QR code, a dedicated Wi-Fi hotspot, direct messaging from the front desk, and a personalized welcome interface highlighting the hotel’s services.
Smart technical architecture
Each room is equipped with two TVs, one in the lounge area and one in the bedroom. To ensure smooth management, VisualCom set up smart Room ID numbering.
Simplified deployment and configuration
The technical team prepared a master clone including the interface and the apps offered to guests, with automatic IP address assignment via DHCP reservations based on each TV’s MAC address, integration into a dedicated VLAN for automatic detection by the CMND server, and minimal manual configuration: only the room number needs to be entered on power-up.
A communication tool that serves the hotel
The CMND server offers a powerful interface to track screen status (IP, MAC, Room ID) in real time, broadcast personalized content via CMND & Create, and remotely install apps with CMND & Deploy.
At a time when most guests have their own Netflix account, choosing Philips Media Suite TVs paired with the CMND server ensures a smooth experience and gives the hotel’s marketing team a genuine communication tool. With this installation, VisualCom secured its fourth hotel in New Caledonia.
